Sarcoidosis is an idiopathic systemic disease characterized histologically by the formation of noncaseating granulomas. Clinical involvement of the central nervous system (CNS) occurs in approximately 5% of cases [
1], and the most common sites of involvement are the cranial nerves, the hypothalamus, and the pituitary gland [
2]. Spinal cord involvement is a much less common manifestation of sarcoidosis, occurring in 0.34% of patients with systemic sarcoidosis [
