Urinary tract infection: case report

In a prospective study of 58 patients, one patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed urinary tract infection while receiving treatment with mitomycin [mitomycin C; dosage not stated]. The patient with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer, started receiving a 1 year treatment with an intravesical instillation of mitomycin every 3 months. Subsequently, the patient developed urinary tract infection. The patient received treatment with antibiotics leading to resolution of the condition [duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated]. …
