Sir: We read with interest the contribution by Molnar et al. [1] describing a lack of association between microalbuminuria and extravascular lung water in patients with septic shock over a 72-h period. We commend the authors for their interest in capillary leak and microalbuminuria, but wish to offer some alternative explanations for their results. …
