Central nervous system complications in Kawasaki disease (KD) have been rarely described [2,3]. However, since KD is a highly febrile, systemic vasculitis syndrome, is often accompanied with aseptic meningitis, and usually affects children under 5 years of age [1], we hypothesised that febrile convulsion (FC) may occur in a substantial proportion of KD patients. …
