Diagnosis of spinal cord lesions can be challenging. Longitudinally extensive transverse myelitis is a frequent manifestation of inflammatory central nervous system (CNS) disorders such as neuromyelitis optica and neurosarcoidosis. However, it is not pathognomonic of these diseases which can be mimicked by others disorders. We present a case of primary CNS lymphoma (PCNSL) which initially manifested as a longitudinally extensive transverse myelopathy (LETM). …
