Effektivere Therapien für Glioblastome sind dringend erforderlich. Ergebnisse einer früheren nichtrandomisierten Phase-II-Studie legten nahe, dass bei neu diagnostiziertem Glioblastom mit methyliertem MGMT(O6-Methylguanin-DNA-Methyltransferase)-Promoter die Kombination aus Lomustin und Temozolomid zusammen mit Strahlentherapie gegenüber einer Therapie aus Temozolomid und Strahlentherapie allein überlegen ist. Mit der randomisierten Phase III CeTeG/NOA(Neuroonkologische Arbeitsgemeinschaft)-09 Studie wurde der Effekt einer Chemotherapie aus Lomustin und Temozolomid nunmehr weiter untersucht. …
