Liposarcoma of the Parapharyngeal Space: a Rare Entity

Liposarcoma is one of the most common soft tissue sarcomas in adults accounting for approximately 20% of soft tissue sarcomas [1]. They exhibit male preponderance and typically occur between the fourth and sixth decades of life [1, 2]. They commonly occur in the lower extremities and the retroperitoneum and rarely in the head and neck region. In the head and neck, liposarcoma of the parapharyngeal space is very rare and only a few case reports exist [3, 4]. We are hereby reporting a case of liposarcoma of the parapharyngeal space. …
