As an ethnic categorization that groups individuals from more than 20 countries and regions, Hispanic populations account for the second largest ethnic group in the United States.¹ Cancer is the leading cause of death among Hispanic Americans, and breast cancer accounts for the greatest proportion of cancer deaths in Hispanic women.² While many disparities have been documented for Hispanic populations in aggregate, less is known about risks faced by Hispanic subpopulations. …
