We recently read with great interest the paper entitled “Cancer-Specific Survival of Patients with Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer: a Population-Based Analysis” by Aleksander Ślusarczyk et al., published in your esteemed journal.1 The study, based on the SEER database, provides a comprehensive analysis of cancer-specific survival in a large cohort of 98,238 patients with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) who underwent transurethral resection of the tumor (TURBT), with a median follow-up of 124 months.
