Still’s disease or systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) is a severe inflammatory disease of childhood characterized by periods of daily spiking fever, evanescent skin rash, severe arthritis, serositis, lymphoid hyperplasia, and, in up to half of cases, macrophage activation syndrome.
