Comment on: “Anthropometric and Physical Qualities of Elite Male Youth Rugby League Players”

We read with interest the recent review on anthropometric and physical qualities of elite male youth rugby league players by Till et al. [1] and congratulate the authors for producing a very informative review. However, we would like to raise an issue that was not addressed by the authors regarding the normative data provided for countermovement jump (CMJ) height in Table 2 of their article. As many readers may compare CMJ height values of other youth rugby league players with those presented by Till et al. [1], to inform talent identification and/or physical preparation, and possibly compare CMJ height across the included methods, we feel that this issue needed to be highlighted via this letter. …
