In a retrospective study, 3 patients (aged 17−64 years) and 1 patient [age not stated] were identified to have developed diarrhoea, hallucinations, paranoia, tachycardia, diaphoresis, fever, hypertension, agitation, confusion, headache and/or depression following treatment with mefloquine (2 patients) or mefloquine misuse (1 patient) or medication error with mefloquine (1 patient) [indications not stated; durations of treatments to reaction onsets and outcomes not stated]. …
