Dr. Chandrakant Gokuldas Saraiya is loved by all the members of the Mumbai Obstetrics and Gynecological Society. He was the society’s 20th President. He is described as a rare combination of a good clinician, teacher, and surgeon. He is known as the Professor of professors in the science of Obstetrics and Gynecology of India. He is a staunch proponent of ethical practice in medicine, a gentleman, and an aristocrat who shunned from being in the limelight. The oldest living President of MOGS rarely comes to conferences nowadays. He spends most of his time seated on a jhoola in his spacious balcony in Malabar hill.
