Meconium peritonitis occurs in about 1 in 35,000 live births in the USA [
1], though its prevalence in the Indian scenario is unknown. Intestinal atresia, among several other causes, seems to be the most common cause of meconium peritonitis [
2]. Early detection and immediate post-natal management is imperative for better outcome. A case report of cystic meconium peritonitis with intestinal atresia as the causative factor, diagnosed antenatally on ultrasound, is presented here. …
