Abstract

Spigelian hernia is an uncommon hernia which occurs through a defect in the spigelian aponeurosis. An 84-year-old gentleman presented to us with uncomplicated bilateral spigelian hernia with bilateral direct inguinal hernia. The patient underwent an open pre-peritoneal mesh repair under spinal anesthesia. Bilateral spigelian hernia with bilateral inguinal hernia is a rare occurrence which led us to publish this case report.
