To the Editor: Virus associated hemophagocytic syndrome is a severe hematological disorder related to some viral infections [1]. Epstein barr virus (EBV), cytomegalovirus, human herpes virus, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), adenovirus, coxsackie virus, measles, dengue, rubella, parvovirus and hepatitis virus are commonly associated with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) [2]. We report a 5-y-old girl who developed HLH with hepatitis A and E co-infection. …
