Cocaine consumption is associated with a large number of medical complications, and different routes of intake can produce different adverse effects. In the Netherlands the most frequent cocaine related problems are respiratory, encompassing 21 % of the cases, while cardio-vascular problems occur in only 8 %, making it the fifth most likely cause of cocaine related problems [1]. …
