See One—Teach One—Do One—the Halstedian regime of surgical teaching needs to evolve with the current trend of growing technological applications in the surgical field, for safer application and efficient learning. One such growing technology is da Vinci Surgical System (Intuitive surgical (Cal.) USA
®). Information regarding the system—such as lack of direct contact with the patient and members of the surgical team—is science fiction; direct contact is involved, in addition to the proactive adoption of new skills. The leaders in this field have transferred such skills passionately to colleagues and next-generation surgeons. Some have even worked on various aspects of training described in this article and previously published work, with a shared goal of providing effective and safe care to the beneficiary. Especially, in recent times, there is growing concern in media about safety related to this approach [
