An Extremely Late Complication of a Roux-en-Y Jejuno-ileal Bypass

Abstract

We report the case of a patient who underwent an open Roux-en-Y jejuno-ileal bypass for morbid obesity in February 1976. Having enjoyed a normal and stable body mass index for 30 years, she presented acutely with an intussusception of the blind limb.
