Treatment strategies for gastroparesis include surgical therapies, usually reserved for those who have failed diet modification and medical therapy. Enteral feeding is another option, and total parenteral nutrition is used as a last resort. Surgical options include gastrostomy or jejunostomy feeding tubes, pyloroplasty, gastrectomy (subtotal or total), and gastric electrical stimulation. …
