In Memoriam: Ken McLeroy

It is with great sadness that the editorial team of the Journal of Primary Prevention notes the passing of our illustrious colleague Dr. McLeroy, who was Emeritus Professor, Retired Regents Professor and Distinguished Professor at the Department of Health Promotion and Community Health Sciences in the School of Public Health at Texas A&M University. He was also a stalwart friend and supporter of our journal. Since we inherited the leadership of the journal, Dr. McLeroy agreed to stay on as an Associate Editor and helped us immeasurably on a regular basis. Since 2007, he completed a total of 31 reviews of submitted manuscripts and served as a guest editor of 14, which may constitute a record for the journal. He definitely did more for us than these numbers show. …
