Lifestyle and bladder cancer prevention: no consistent evidence from cohort studies

Al-Zalabani et al. [1] published a systematic review of all meta-analyses on modifiable risk factors of primary bladder cancer conducted to date, including lifestyle factors. The aim of this systematic review was to give an overview of the current state of knowledge, at the highest level of evidence. I would like to compliment the authors for providing such a comprehensive overview of available meta-analyses on lifestyle factors and bladder cancer risk. Nevertheless, I would like to raise my concerns about the methodology used and the interpretation of the results. …
