We regret to announce that the renowned medical pharmacologist Professor Kurt Hellmann—one of the most eminent pioneers in metastasis research and treatment—died on April 3rd 2013. He was a stalwart and active supporter of the Metastasis Research Society for many years and will be sadly missed by his many friends, colleagues and collaborators. We wish to extend our condolences to his family and especially his wife Jane who devotedly supported him throughout his long and productive life. …
