The 10th Annual Meeting was as good as, if not better than, the preceding Meetings, as regards the scientific program, attendance, the cultural program, and live surgery. The scientific program started with the opening ceremony at 10 a.m. on April 9, 2015. The state-of-the-art sessions began with cancer updates by the opening speaker John Northover from the UK. This was followed by diagnostic sessions including molecular imaging by Khaled Taaleb MD from Cairo, Egypt. The cancer session continued with Professor Ali Shafik showing a video of ultralow cancer resection without a diverting proximal stoma. There was an extraordinary session on multi-disciplinary team discussed by three surgeons from the UK with audience participation by digital voting. This was followed by a session on pediatric reconstructive surgery with participants from many countries.
