We read with great interest this thorough analysis of an aortic emergency, frequently encountered in young patients [1]. Polytrauma victims who are often associated with concomitant multiple fractures/lung contusion/head injuries and a T4-periisthmic, adventitia/periaortic tissue-sustained pseudoaneurysm are indeed a distressing setting for any trauma-center shift. …
