An error has occurred in the affiliations of the article DOI 10.​1007/​s00586-012-2184-4 (European Spine Journal 2012, Volume 21, Issue 8, pp 1508–1515). The presented affiliation of all authors is: Department of Physiotherapy, Research Team Collegium Magicum, University of Physical Education, ul. Mikolowska 72, 40-065 Katowice, Poland. Actually only the first author (R.G.) was the member of the Research Team Collegium Magicum. The second (E.S.) and third (B.M.) authors did not belong to the Team. The label ‘Collegium Magicum’ was used incorrectly—actually it was not the unit of our University, just the name of students’ scientific team and it should not be included in this affiliation.
