I have read with great interest the article by Kohl et al. [1]. We believe the article has many valuable lessons, and we would like to comment on the surgical technique used by the authors to close spina bifida defects [1, 2]. Our objective is to introduce the concept of a two-step approach for fetoscopic correction of this abnormality. …
