Laparoscopic surgery dramatically alters clinical practice in the surgical treatment of solid cancers. Because it improves postoperative quality of life (QOL) substantially without any worsening of oncologic outcomes, laparoscopic surgery has become popular, replacing open surgery in routine clinical practice. …
