The mission of Dysphagia Research Society (DRS) is to advance the scientific understanding of normal development, normal adaptation, physiology, pathophysiology, and mechanisms of disorders of swallowing across the age spectrum, improve the quality of life among patients related to safe swallowing, improve quality of care by interdisciplinary providers, disseminate knowledge through scientific meetings and workshops, develop policies, and serve as an effective voice for researchers and clinical care providers in this field. …
