Carcinomas of the sinonasal tract comprise of a heterogenous group of rare malignant tumors, of which the etiopathogenesis is largely unknown. In about 20–30% of sinonasal squamous cell carcinomas, high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) has been identified, making the sinonasal area the second hot spot for HPV-associated carcinomas of the head and neck, after the oropharynx [13]. …
