We would like to thank Dr. Morin for the interest on our paper [

We perfectly agree with him concerning the value of post-mortem interrogation of cardiac implanted electronic devices (CIEDs), not only for diagnosis of the cause of death, but also for the detection and analysis of any potential fatal device failure and for the body identification. Moreover, according also to our practice, the exact time of death could be determined, which could be of an utmost importance in some criminal cases. …
