Various types of tracheostomy tubes are available in the market to suit the special needs of individual patients. Some of the tracheostomy tubes, such as TRACOE® comfort (TRACOE medical GmbH, Reichsforststr. 32, 60528 Frankfurt/Main) tubes are designed to be as comfortable as possible for permanent wearers after tracheostomy or laryngectomy. These tubes are made up of PVC and are lightweight, flexible transparent tubes providing comfort to the wearers. …
