Cranial fasciitis of childhood (CFC) [
7] is considered a subset of deep nodular fasciitis [

12]. CFC has been reported to arise from the deep fascia, periosteum or from the fibrous layers that cover fontanelles and sutures [

12]. The average age of onset is 2 years. The male/female ratio is 2/1. The lesion is usually unique, firm and painless [
7]. CFC rapidly grows up to a diameter of 1–3 cm or more, and then is usually detected and excised [

10]. No recurrences have been reported to date [
