We welcome the comments by Dr. Espat on our article regarding the clinical outcome of patients after hepatectomy for colorectal metastases following neoadjuvant chemotherapy [1, 2]. We agree that the important question of an increased negative outcome in these patients has yet to be fully investigated, but we consider our data to be of importance. …
