Currently, several effective anti-osteoporotic drugs are available, and their mechanisms of action are well known, albeit widely varying depending on the nature of the drugs involved. This paper addresses the following questions: Firstly, to what extent do these molecules and their mechanisms of action account for their antifracture efficacy?
