With their long-term efficacy, the most common stress urinary incontinence (SUI) surgeries today are midurethral sling surgeries. The common point of midurethral sling operations is the use of mesh material passed under the urethra. The most common long-term complication after midurethral sling surgery is mesh exposure [1]. We present a case of vagino-cutaneous fistula and mesh exposure, which is a rare complication that occurred 13 years after the transobturator tape (TOT) procedure. …
