Sexual violence is a world-wide problem; however, little research has been done in this area [1]. It is associated with an increased risk of physical injury, sexual and reproductive health problems, with immediate and long-term consequences [2]. The Egyptian Center for Women’s Rights [3] carried out a survey and found that 98% of foreign women and 83% of Egyptian women experienced some sort of sexual harassment, but only 12% formally reported the incident, whereas the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality [4] reported that 99.3% of Egyptian women admitted enduring some form of sexual violence. …
