Editors’ choice

In this issue of International Urogynecology Journal (IUJ) we are introducing a new section called “Editors’ Choice.” The Editors-in-Chief will pick three to four articles each year which may be either original research studies or reviews. These will be selected on their originality, quality, potential for high citation, and finally their clinical interest to you, our readers. The Editors’ Choice articles will have a prominent position in the journal and will be granted 3 months’ open access by Springer, our publishers, in order to achieve the widest possible dissemination and readership. The authors will receive a certificate with acclamation at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the International Urogynaecology Association. It is our hope that this may induce authors to consider the IUJ as their first choice for their high-quality studies in urogynaecology and pelvic floor dysfunction. …
