Prä- oder postoperative Strahlentherapie bei retroperitonealen Sarkomen unverzichtbar

Retroperitoneale Sarkome sind eine therapeutische Herausforderung. Die Möglichkeiten der operativen Therapie sind eingeschränkt, und als Folge gibt es hohe Lokalrezidivraten. Allerdings ist auch eine Strahlentherapie in diesen Lokalisationen nicht einfach. Ferner war die Datenlage lange Zeit sehr dünn und unübersichtlich, und die Empfehlungen zur Strahlentherapie sind bisher relativ zurückhaltend formuliert. Eine aktuelle, sehr große Kohortenanalyse belegt aber den hohen Stellenwert der Strahlentherapie und zeigt auch einen signifikanten Überlebensvorteil [9]. …
