Limbic encephalitis (LE) is a rare neurologic condition that is characterized by subacute onset of memory dysfunction, abnormal behavior, seizures, psychiatric symptoms, and decreased level of consciousness. Leucine-rich, glioma inactivated 1 (LGI1) antibody encephalitis is characterized by faciobrachial dystonic seizures (FBDS), hyponatremia, and a florid amnestic syndrome, and it is not convincingly associated with cancer [
1]. Early and correct diagnosis, coupled with early-initiated immunotherapy may improve the prognosis. Here, we report three Chinese patients with LGI1-positive antibodies in the cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) or serum, and analyze the clinical characteristics, therapeutic strategies, and outcomes of the patients. …
