The field of cardiac graphics has progressed from Blumgart’s use of radioisotopes to measure circulation time,1 to highly temporally and spatially resolved cardiac images from multimillion dollar imaging devices such as PET/CT hybrid imaging, capable of performing calcium scoring, coronary CT angiography, rest and stress perfusion imaging, absolute quantification of myocardial blood flow and flow reserve, ventricular function at rest and stress, and myocardial metabolism. …
