Hydatid cyst disease continues to be an important health problem in regions where animal husbandry is common. Transmission is often by fecal-oral ingestion of eggs excreted in dog feces. Diagnosis and treatment are usually possible in endemic areas without causing serious complications. However, it can sometimes lead to serious clinical situations. In this study, a case of hydatid cyst causing vertebra and rib destruction is presented.
