Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor; an Imposter that Mimics as a Parotid mass

Pre auricular swellings are commonly encountered in Otolarnyngology practice. Although the majority of these patients have a lesion arising from the parotid gland, lesion arising from neighbouring structures may mimic a parotid lump. Apart from level II lymph nodes, lesions arising from the skin and subcutaneous fat, masseter muscle, mandible, carotid space as well as those lesions arising from the superior aspect of the anterior cervical space close to the parotid tail can contribute to the list [1]. …
