What are your values? What beliefs and principles are embedded so deep in your gut that they guide everything action you take, no matter how difficult, no matter how painful? What makes you wake up every morning with a renewed sense of purpose? At the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, we have given these questions a lot of thought because we are more than just an organization, we are a force with the potential to create a tsunami for change. Our mission is more than just words; we have an obligation, a calling, if you will, to ensure all people with mental health and/or substance use challenges get effective care when and where they need it. If we do not have our own house in order, how can we hope to attain such a lofty goal? …
