Low-dose methotrexate is widely used in the treatment of rheumatologic and cutaneous diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis. Opportunistic infections associated with this immunosuppressive therapy are increasingly recognized. In this respect,
Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia has been the most prevalently reported infection [

Aspergillus fumigatus pulmonary infection has been described [
