Sergej Nikolajevich Davidenkov (1880–1961) is remembered in his own country as an outstanding clinician and founder of Russian clinical neurogenetics. In the West he is best known for his many contributions on scapuloperoneal amyotrophy, also known as Davidenkov syndrome.
