Breast augmentation remains one of the most common invasive procedures that plastic surgeons perform, and it has increased in popularity over the past several years [1]. Patient satisfaction after breast augmentation is high. However, we have become aware that many patients who had breast augmentation in our unit have noticed a difference in their augmented breast size between the first postoperative days and the 1-month follow up visit. They state that in the period 3 to 4 weeks after the operation, their breast appeared to be smaller than immediately after the operation. …
