The Journal of Children's Orthopaedics is no longer published by Springer as of the end of 2016. The journal will continue in cooperation with a new publisher, The British Editorial Society of Bone & Joint Surgery.
Springer will continue to host an archive of all articles previously published in the journal and all articles published in The Journal of Children's Orthopaedics during its time with Springer will remain fully searchable via SpringerLink.

The Journal of Children's Orthopaedics - the official journal of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS) - provides a forum for the advancement of the knowledge and education in pediatric orthopaedics and traumatology across geographical borders and advocates an increased worldwide involvement in preventing and treating musculoskeletal diseases in children and adolescents.
The Journal publishes high quality, peer-reviewed articles that focus on clinical practice, diagnosis and treatment of disorders unique to pediatric orthopaedics, as well as on basic and applied research that help physicians stay abreast of the latest and ever-changing developments in the field of pediatric orthopaedics and traumatology.
The Journal of Children's Orthopaedics welcomes original contributions submitted exclusively for review to the Journal. The Journal features original articles, review articles, editorials and letters to the editor.
The Journal of Children's Orthopaedics is published in the Open Access model from 2014 onwards, so all articles published since then are freely available online. The Article Processing Charges (APC) are fully sponsored by EPOS.
