Arnold present a “hands-on” book providing a huge amount of practical information that one needs to achieve accurate clinical judgements. Clinical manifestations of everything from Adie pupil and anisocoria to thromboembolic disease are explained in detail and are nicely divided into sections, beginning with the basics of the initial ocular examination, moving on to presenting signs and symptoms, then disease-specific chapters, and, finally, a critical “how to do it” guide to the major diagnostic tests. This logical and well-organized book is a very valuable addition to the library of neurosurgeons facing abnormalities that cause oculomotor or visual disturbances. …
