Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is a very rare vascular tumour that arises from the media of the blood vessels. We present the case of a 64-year-old patients affected by LMS of the inferior mesenteric vein (IMV) with a tumour thrombus treated with surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy.
